Chatting Online without a chat client!
Ever get tired of changing computers and find out that your favorite chat clients (Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, Google Talk) aren't installed?
To solve that problem, Meebo came along several years ago and addressed that problem by creating a site that acts as a proxy for the clients, allowing you to access your YM, Google, MSN, etc. accounts via an innovative log in system as shown:
Meebo does give you access to your accounts, but unfortunately the features are quite spartan compared to the real clients. An example of this is that you can only include simple smileys not the flash animated one say on Yahoo Messenger. But if chatting is all your after, Meebo does the job quite well.
